The project involved the construction of two extensions and a complete internal and external renovation of the existing property. The extensions provided an attached double garage, utility room, wine cellar, and master bedroom suite. The entire roof was replaced, with standing seam metal cladding and Canadian Western Red Cedar installed on the facades. The site was landscaped with gabion retaining walls and a suspended timber balcony deck.

Appledown Projects has completed the refurbishment of Mansel Park Pavilion youth centre, funded via the government Youth Investment Fund.

Extensive works were required: internal structural works, complete reformatting of the internal layout, new mechanical & electrical installations, façade renovation, new windows/doors, and hard-wearing, maximum longevity fit-out throughout the property.

The programme was concise and efficient. It was delivered on time, made possible by our well-developed internal processes, Procore, our skilled and experienced project team, and supply chain.

A complex renovation at the 2000m² site that encompassed extensive refurbishments to ensure legislative compliance, enhance sustainability, and improve marketability.

Approximately 70% of the renovation efforts focused on Eastlands II, a Grade II listed property. We conducted a full strip-out and reinstatement of internal finishes and joinery, installed new M&El systems, and fitted a monitored category L1 fire alarm system and LED lighting. Externally, we undertook repairs and replacements to preserve the building’s historic character.

In Eastlands I and the adjoining car park, updates included further installation of the fire alarm, LED lighting upgrades, new floor and ceiling finishes, redecoration.
