St Edmund’s School Canterbury is a private day and boarding school that caters to girls and boys aged 3–18. Our work involved extending their Academic Hub to provide additional teaching rooms and staff facilities. This new phase connects to the initial building, with breakthrough and some internal remodelling undertaken at the end of the contract. Phase I of the hub remained in use by the school, so careful consideration was given to programming and logistics to minimise disruption.

Mandeville Primary School was expanded from a 1FE to a 2FE facility. This was achieved through the provision of a new two-storey KS2 teaching block that features 8 classrooms, a multi-purpose double-storey-height hall, four group rooms, and associated facilities. A small extension and reconfiguration of the existing building was also delivered, plus the provision of two new sports pitches, extended playgrounds, and new parking facilities, all under a Design and Build contract.

Whitstable House offers nursing-led care facilities to those with a variety of needs. Designed to provide a secure and safe environment, the new three and four storey steel-frame building provides 101 en-suite care bedrooms, a Day Care Centre, communal assisted bathrooms, communal living areas, associated medical care rooms and ancillary staff offices.
